An up-and-coming artist has challenged pop superstar Lady GaGa to a singing contest, after accusing the star of being "plastic".
Newcomer Alisa Apps has issued the challenge as she believe GaGa is just a product of the music industry and not a very good singer, despite her popularity.
Apps wants to battle the Alejandro starlet at New York's Madison Square Garden, with the winner (as chosen by the public) taking home a prize of $1million.
"I feel sorry for Lady Gaga," Alisa tells Billboard, "she's just a plastic doll generated by the music money marketing machine.
"This contest gives people a chance to choose which they prefer - plastic or real."
