GaGa Cancels Paris Shows

Lady GaGa has postponed her forthcoming concerts in Paris, France until later this year.

The events this weekend have been moved due to strikes, after more than one million citizens took to the streets to protest President Nicolas Sarkozy's plans to raise retirement age from 60 to 62.

In a statement, GaGa says: "Unfortunately, as there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy (area in Paris) for this weekend's shows, the Lady Gaga performances are now postponed.

"Lady Gaga apologises to her fans for any inconvenience." The events will now be held on 19 and 20 December.
