GaGa reveals details of her visit to Australia this July

Minutes before her appearance on Good Morning America this week, Lady GaGa spoke to Australia’s Sunday Herald Sun about her upcoming visit to Australia. The “Born This Way” singer revealed that she will be holding a special one-off concert event in the Sydney Town Hall on July 13th. The town hall, which will be renamed “The Sydney Monster Hall” for this one off event, will hold an intimate concert with fans who have won a national radio competition, with the details for the event to be revealed at a later date.

The concert will be aired across Australia, on Austereo networks and Nine’s Go and Channel [V]. Speaking about the upcoming stop, GaGa revealed:

I can’t wait, I feel like it’s been 100 years. I’m so excited about that, I can’t wait. Just to be able to kiss and touch and hold the fans again is going to be such a wonderful feeling.

Lady GaGa also spoke about her next tour, which will have an extended run throughout Australia:

The next tour I believe will be called the Born This Way Ball and that will be a much longer tour of Australia. Pink’s tour of Australia is truly inspiring. I don’t know if it will be that long but maybe if we’re lucky. It will be next year, at the top of next year. I think it’s really unfair that artists don’t bring their entire shows Down Under because it is quite expensive to cargo. But I don’t do this for the money. I do it for the thrill of music and theatre so I will be bringing my whole show with me.
